Privacy Policy

Righteous that you tuned in. Your privacy is a big deal to us, and it's Vanture Club's policy to respect it regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, https://www.vanture.club, and other joints we own and operate.

Effective as of July 2026.

1. Information we collect

Log data

When you cruise into our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data your web browser hands over. It may include your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details.

Device data

We may also note the gear you're using to reach us - device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, device settings, and rough geo-location. What we pick up can depend on your device and its settings, so peep your device manufacturer's or software provider's policy to learn what they make available to us.

Radio listener statistics

When you tune into the Radio, our streaming servers may log listener statistics - your IP address, browser or player type, approximate geographic location, and how long you stayed on the air. We use this purely to keep stats on the broadcast and see where our signal reaches.

Personal information

When you check in as a member via a magic link, we may ask for personal information such as your:

  • Name and surname
  • Email address
  • Nickname (the handle you'll rock in the club)

Community data

As you hang out on the desktop - dropping lines in Chat, signing the Guestbook, spinning the Radio - we keep the records that make those features work: your posts, your member profile, session activity, and basic usage metrics. Totally the normal course of running the place.

2. Legal bases for processing

We process your personal information lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent way. We only collect and process information about you where we have legal bases for doing so. These depend on the services you use and how you use them, meaning we collect and use your information only where:

  • it's necessary to perform a contract you're a party to, or to take steps at your request before entering one (for example, when we provide a service you ask for);
  • it satisfies a legitimate interest that isn't overridden by your data-protection interests - such as research and development, promoting our service, and protecting our legal rights;
  • you give us consent for a specific purpose (like signing up for a newsletter); or
  • we need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.

Where you consent to a specific use, you can change your mind any time (though it won't undo processing that already went down). We don't keep personal information longer than necessary, and while we hold it we protect it within commercially acceptable means. That said - no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% bulletproof, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

3. Collection and use of information

We may collect, hold, use, and disclose information for the following purposes:

  • to provide you with the club's core features - Radio, Gallery, Chat, and the rest of the desktop;
  • to let you access and use our website, apps, and associated social platforms;
  • to contact and communicate with you;
  • for internal record-keeping and administration;
  • for analytics, market research, and making the experience smoother;
  • to run events, drops, or extra perks; and
  • for marketing, including news about our products and things we reckon you'll dig.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose personal information to:

  • third-party service providers so they can do their thing - including IT providers, data storage, hosting and server providers, analytics, error loggers, marketing or advertising providers, professional advisors, and payment operators.

5. International transfers

The personal information we collect may be stored and processed anywhere we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers keep facilities. By handing us your personal information, you consent to disclosure to these overseas parties. Where we move personal information out of the European Economic Area (EEA), we'll make sure it's protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard data-protection clauses.

Keep in mind that third parties in other jurisdictions may not be bound by data-protection laws like the ones where we operate, which could affect the redress available to you.

6. Your rights and controlling your personal information

Choice and consent: By providing personal information to us, you consent to us collecting, holding, using, and disclosing it in line with this policy. If you're under 16, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the site and share your information. You don't have to give us personal information, but if you don't, it may affect your use of the club.

Restrict: You may restrict the collection or use of your personal information. If you previously agreed to direct marketing, you can change your mind any time by hitting us up at the address below.

Access and portability: You may request details of the personal information we hold about you, a copy of it, that we erase it, or that we transfer it to another party.

Correction: If anything we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, contact us and we'll take reasonable steps to set it straight.

Complaints: If you reckon we've breached a data-protection law, contact us with the details and we'll investigate and respond in writing. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body.

Unsubscribe: To bail from our email list or opt out of communications, contact us or use the opt-out link in any message.

7. Cookies & local storage

We lean on your browser's local storage to keep your sign-in tokens and preferences, so you stay checked in between visits. Some pages may set short-lived cookies to remember your access state. You can clear your local storage and cookies any time from your browser settings - no hard feelings.

8. Business transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event we shut down or enter bankruptcy, your data may be among the assets transferred to whoever takes over. You acknowledge such transfers may happen, and that the new owners may keep using your personal information under this policy.

9. Limits of our policy

Our website may link out to external sites we don't run (our Instagram gallery, partner links, and the like). We have no control over their content or policies and can't take responsibility for their privacy practices, so give theirs a read too.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect current practices. We'll take reasonable steps to let you know about changes via our website. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept them. If we make a significant change - like the legal basis on which we process your information - we'll ask you to re-consent. Catch you on the flip side.
